Ann Coulter Booed During John Stossel Debate After Criticizing Libertarians, Gay Marriage (VIDEO)

Gay marriage is a radical proposal because it cuts marriage off at the root, separating it from its roots in human nature. After gay marriage, every single feature of marriage becomes questionable and therefore will be questioned anew: Why just two? Why not sisters? Why fidelity? Perhaps the most difficult question to answer, after gay marriage, is: Why is the government involved in marriage at all?
Stossel: Gay Marriage "Movement Has Moved From Tolerance To Totalitarianism"
Watch the latest video at video. Ann Coulter was booed by a crowd of students this week after she made comments criticizing libertarians and gay marriage. Coulter appeared on Fox Business Network's "Stossel" on Thursday, during which she got into a heated debate with host John Stossel and a roomful of libertarian students. The conversation took a bitter turn when Stossel -- an outspoken libertarian himself -- and Coulter began discussing the country's drug war and marijuana legalization. She said libertarians spent way too much time talking about drugs when they should be talking about government regulation and employment policy — and that they were just "sucking up to liberals.
In John Stossel's appearance on Fox News, he argues that the part of the Civil Rights Act governing private enterprises should be repealed, allowing businesses to discriminate against anyone they want. Stossel, in the typical reductio ad absurdum fashion of a zealous ideologue, demands to know if we care so much about our namby-pamby commitment to letting black people eat at restaurants, whether we are going to have the courage of our convictions and also make a black student association let in white students, or outlaw discrimination against mustachioed news anchors. The rejoinders are obvious: the black student student association is a voluntary membership organization which, like the Boy Scouts of America, is indeed allowed to discriminate about who joins. The law covers places of public accommodation, not associations of individuals. Likewise, cable-news networks can discriminate against mustachioed anchors—perhaps in Stossel's case they should—because one's appearance is germane to one's ability to perform task at hand, which it isn't in the vast majority of jobs.
